The painting shows the Chief of Clan MhicFergus of Atholl,
Lieutenant-General Archibald Fergusson
of Dunfallandy (1755-1834), his Crest and Coat of Arms and Dunfallandy
House built in 1818,
together with the Bloody Stone of Dunfallandy and,on the right, the
exquisite Pictish Dunfallandy Stone .
The original was nearly 20" x 30"(51cm x 75cm) and is in a private
collection.
