The Middle Falls shown here is just one of a series of splendid falls and torrents on the tumultuous River Bruar just
a mile from the artist's house in Calvine. Long a favourite with visitors and locals alike, there is an easy circular walk
to the Falls, up one side of the river and down the other bank.  Access is from the car parks at the House of Bruar
